    Day1 Tokyo arrival

    Welcome to Japan! After completing customs procedures, a guide (usually Spanish-speaking, though occasionally in English-speaking) will be waiting for you.

    You’ll then be transferred to your hotel by shared shuttle bus.

    The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

    In the afternoon, you’ll receive details about the start of your tour.

     

    Day2 Tokyo

    Five-hour city tour.( the Zojoji Temple, the junction of Shibuya, The Meiji Temple,  Omotesando,

    Nijubashi Bridge, Akihabara, Kokugikan, the Buddhist temple of Sensoji, Asakusa)

    Lunch included in a local restaurant. Return to hotel.

    Free time in the afternoon.
    Late in the afternoon, we will pay a visit to this fascinating country by taking a trip on the metro (tickets included) to the Shinjuku district.

    Dinner included and return to hotel by metro with our guide.

     

    Day3 Tokyo - Hiroshima - Itsukushima - Hiroshima

    Departure by Bullet Train to Hiroshima.

    Arrival and visit of the Peace Memorial.

    By ferry we go to Miyajima Island to see the Itsukushima Shrine partially built on the sea.

    Return to our hotel in Hiroshima.

    Dinner included.

     

    Day4 Hiroshima - Matsuyama

    Departure by ferry to Shikoku Island.

    In Matsuyama, we´ll take a cable car up to the castle.

    We will visit Ishiteji, a place of pilgrimage.

    Lunch included.

    In the late afternoon, We will include entrance to Dogo Onsen, a traditional Japanese bath.

     

    Day5 Matsuyama - Kotohira - Takamatsu - Naruto - Kobe

    Departure to Kotohira Shrine.

    In Takamatsu we will visit Ritsurin, one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan.

    Lunch included.

    Stunning bridge over the Naruto Sea. Between beautiful landscapes we arrive in Kobe.

     

    Day6 Kobe - Osaka - Mount Koya

    In Kobe, we visited the Earthquake Memorial Museum.

    Continue to the sacred mountain of Koya, a place of pilgrimage with important temples and monasteries.

    Accommodation in a Buddhist monastery. Zen meditation practice and dinner included (vegetarian).

     

    Day7 Mount Koya - Kyoto

    Japanese breakfast at the temple.

    We will leave for Kyoto, visit the main spots of the city.(Shinto Shrine of Fushimi Inari, the Imperial PalaceKinkakuji temple)

    Night transfer to Gion, the traditional Geisha neighborhood.

    Free time.

     

    Day8 Kyoto - Tsumago - Matsumoto.-Nagano

    Beautiful landscapes in the Japanese Alps Region.

    Visit of the village of Tsumago, with its wooden houses.

    Lunch included.

    Arrival in Matsumoto with its impressive castle.

    Arrival in Nagano in the late afternoon.

     

    Day9 Nagano - Monkey Park - Kusatsu - Ikaho Onsen

    We'll visit Zenko-ji, a pilgrimage site with Japan's first Buddhist image, and experience the Gomakuyo ceremony for good luck.

    Visit of Jigokudani Monkey Park.

    Lunch included.

    Afterwards, we arrive in Kusatsu, a hot spring town.

    We continue to Ikaho, where we will stay in a Ryokan.

    Traditional Japanese dinner included.

     

    Day10 Ikaho - Nikko - Tokyo

    Departure to Nikko, a peaceful place with its impressive temples.

    Visit Nikko-Toshogu Temple and the Taiyuinbyo mausoleum.

    Departure to Tokyo. Arrival around 6.30 pm.

     

    Day11 Tokyo- Kamakura- Enoshima- Odawara

    Departure to Kamakura.

    We will visit the Zen temple of Hokoku-ji, Sugimoto-dera and the Great Buddha.

    Our journey will continue along a scenic route by the Pacific Ocean to Enoshima.

    We’ll then proceed to Odawara, where we’ll visit the impressive Odawara Castle.

    Overnight stay in Odawara.

     

    Day12  Odawara - Owakudani - Oshino Hakkai - Kawaguchiko - Mount Fuji - Tokyo

    We’ll begin the day by ascending Owakudani, the “Valley of Hel".

    Visit Oshino Hakkai, a charming village with eight ponds and picturesque views of Mount Fuji.

    Arrival in Kawaguchiko, an idyllic lakeside town and boat ride.

    Ascent to Mount Fuji by bus.

    Return to Tokyo at the end of the day.

      Day3

      The order of the visits in Hiroshima may vary without affecting their content.

      Day6

      On certain dates, the visit to the Earthquake Museum may be replaced by a visit to the Sake Museum or a trip up Kobe Tower.
      Staying at the monastery is considered a highly valuable experience. The rooms are simple, without private bathrooms, and follow traditional Japanese style with tatami mats. Bathrooms are shared.
      We cannot guarantee the meditation practice during peak tourist dates. Since accommodation capacity in the temples on Mount Koya is limited, in some cases, we may accommodate groups in nearby hotels (with half board included).

      Day7

      If you already visited Kyoto on your circuit, our guide will offer you information and advice on visiting the other parts of the city unaccompanied.

      Day9

      In the autumn, depending on the amount of fruit in the mountains, the movement of the monkeys is unpredictable. If the macaques do not come down to the park, it may be closed. The visit to Kusatsu may be cancelled due to the weather from November to April.

      Day 12

      To access may be restricted due to volcanic activity or toxic gases; if so, we will visit the Arakurayama Sengen Park instead
